1999 Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc

Pale bright straw.
Quite delicate nose with faint herbs and oily butter touches.
Medium bodied, very intense and dry. Ripe quince, sweet grapefruit, lemons, prickly acidity, good balance and length.
Very good now, though much less pungent than I remember it.
