1996 Jayer Gilles Hautes Cotes de Beaune

1st Aug 1999 GBP14 Burgundy Table Red

Deep, bright, garnet/red.
Smoky bacon and oak on the nose with currant/cherry fruit.
Medium bodied, dry with firm tannins, crisp acids and a good finish.
Still quite austere - very good though.
