2000 Colle Verde Chardonnay IGT Vigna del Caprio

Very pale straw with a light spritz.
Delicate, fresh nose with faint butter, lychee and floral notes.
Medium bodied with sweet, ripe fruit, aromatic lychee flavours, nicely balanced acidity and soft, fresh, mineral acidity. Elegant with a dry finish. Delicious now… I would probably have pegged the origin as Alsace.
