1997 Montgras M de Gras Merlot Reserva

Bright, even ruby gradually paling to red, viscous. Punchy, lifted, alcoholic nose of plums, charred oak and tobacco - big stuff! Full bodied and rounded with rich, spicy, plum and cedar flavours, warm and long with good balance. Quite dry on the finish with lots of oak. Good, but obvious - drink now.
