1997 Bourgeois Pouilly Fume

I left this open for 4 to 5 hours to let excess sulphur burn off - didn't work though!
Bright, pale gold. Slightly herbal nose with cat's piss pungency - fruit masked by sulphur. Medium bodied with lots of sulphur on the palate masking lemon drop fruit. Good acidity with a long, dry finish. Needs food. Would have been lovely without the sulphur burn.
