Even, opaque, red/brown paling to brown rim.
Intense, inky nose of stewed figs, coffee and cream. Enticing, complex aromas of lightly toasted oak and nuts.
Medium bodied with rich, spicy flavours of cocoa, herbs and fat, ripe, black cherries.
Good acidity and a dash of old oak carry through onto a good, quite dry, finish.
