[Blind] Deep and dark was all I could get on the colour - the lighting wasn't the best. Maturing, developed claret nose with figs, cassis and some cedar. Full bodied with sweet cassis and plum fruit, good acidity, a lovely, firm, rounded texture and a long, long, layered finish of cedar and tobacco. Drinking well now but not finished - a truly fine wine. [Guess 1989 classed growth St Julien - damn! Led astray by Tom C again…]
