1998 Yarra Valley Hills Sauvignon/Semillon

Very viscous, even, pale yellow. Alcoholic, slightly subdued nose of oily butter, walnuts and minerals. Medium bodied with rich, sweet apple and quince fruit, nicely balanced acidity and alcohol, and a decent herb and gooseberry finish. Very good.
