1995 Fetzer Bonterra Sangiovese

[Tasted Blind]
Pale and mute with some forest fruit notes on the nose.
Dry and medium to full bodied with thin, underripe, bitter almond flavours.
Not particularly appealing and doesn't seem to be going anywhere.
[I don't know if this was a poor bottle, or if it couldn't stand up to some fairly big cabernets, but it showed much more poorly than at subsequent tastings]
