Deep plum red, browning at rim. Very heavy sediment.
Rich, meaty, spicy nose of soft black fruits and alcohol.
Medium to full bodied with ripe mulberry, rhubarb and black fruit flavours and a touch of tar.
Long, pepper and oak finish.
A bit young and recently arrived - possibly slightly in shock but very good.
