1997 Slaley Chardonnay

Bright, straw/gold.
Closed but attractive nose of nuts and apricots, with mineral notes.
Medium bodied and dry, with tropical fruit flavours and tart, balancing acidity.
Lots of alcohol, but little, if any, oak.
Lovely now - very good value.
