Deep, opaque purple - ruby at rim.
Fresh inviting nose with juicy, ripe plum and cherry fruits and some underlying oak.
Forward flavours of sweet plum/prune fruit, apple pips and oak, fresh, tart acids, plenty of alcohol and a dry finish.
Very young, but should open out nicely.
Match with rich Italian foods.
