Deep purple/red fading to red at rim.
Ripe black fruit on the nose - intense and clean [Syrah?].
Medium to full bodied with cassis fruit and a trace of wet fur. Even, mouthfilling texture and ripe tannins. Long and dry finish with flavours of peppercorns.
[I guessed at Australian Syrah or Cabernet/Syrah - ouch]
