Tasted two days after arrival - possibly still in shock.
Deep ruby to red/pink rim - big legs.
Plummy, up front nose with hints of game, mint and some iron - rustic but very appealing.
Medium to full bodied. Sweet, spicy, baked plum fruit, lots of alcohol and well integrated oak. Firm underlying tannins and warm acidity. Long finish.
Very good. Reminds me of Ch Musar and some big, baked Portuguese reds.
