Wine tasting note: 1995 Pilton Manor Fume

1995 Pilton Manor Fume

2nd Apr 1999 GBP4 England Table White

[Tasted Blind - outwith the range of the notes I normally include, but very impressive]
Bright, even gold.
Quite dumb and tinny with some slightly oxidised citrus and oak.
Medium bodied with undeveloped, raw, chunky flavours of oak and citrus.
Good length and steely acids throughout. Needs 2 to 3 years.
[Guess UKP8 to 10, high-quality, cool-climate Chardonnay - Greece?]
