Wine tasting note: 1996 Pilton Manor Dry Reserve

1996 Pilton Manor Dry Reserve

2nd Apr 1999 GBP3 England Table White

[I don't normally include such cheap wines, but I tasted this blind and it really impressed]
Very pale and bright, with a faint yellow tinge.
Delicate nose with ripe lychee/peach fruit and some pithy, mineral notes.
Medium to full bodied with soft, warm grapefruit and orange fruit and a lingering gooseberry, mineral finish.
[Guess UKP 6 to 7, Riesling blend?]
